Diane and I haven't been in touch since 1975, so I can't give you a conclusive answer. However I think it extremely unlikely. Since parting from Anton, as far as I know she has used only her maiden name, Diane Hegarty. I haven't heard "Diane Gunderson" at any time.

I've wondered, and now ask you, why you are followed by so many controversial individuals - like Diana Napolis, David Shurter, Noreen Gosch, and Ted Gunderson - who accuse you of a lot.
I have always been something of a magnet of curiosity - most of it tolerant/fair, but some of it from the tinfoil-hat loony-bin - because I am a combination of (a) government intelligence officer, (b) PSYOP professional, (c) high academic credentials, and (d) expert in & practitioner of Black Magic. This gets everyone's saliva going. As you can see from the writings on my website, these interests have been very illuminating [that's with a small "i"!] to me, separately and collectively, the positive results of which I enjoy sharing with others. I am curious about the universe and the phenomenon of consciousness. As for the tinfoil-hat crowd, they have their own stupid and/or malicious fantasies & fetishes, and are always looking for someone else to pin them on to avoid dealing honestly with themselves. Can't help that.
Did Anton LaVey also attract a lot of this, as well?
Not in the same way, because he just had (d) above. But he was very charismatic, artistic, and of course aggressively self-advertising, and that attracted the god, the bad, and the ugly to some extent. But not really the conspiracy wackos - just other people with occult interests.
In your view, why so many people who are now around 40-years-old are reporting symptoms of DID, SRA, and "programming?" Do you think this is just mass media promulgated hysteria? Why do so many of these people describe similar kinds of fears and experiences? Are they influenced by each other, or is it somehow inherent in their conditions?
This is normal human wacko-fad behavior. Before "SRA" it was being sucked up into flying saucers for sex experiments, etc. "SRA" is now so discredited and deflated that something new is needed, hence "CIA etc. mind control" (which of course the CIA let itself in for with all that MK-ULTRA stuff and more recent nonsense as discussed in my "Project Star Gate" paper (on my website)). I don't know anything about her personal background or psychology - just assume she's one of those who got obsessed with (a)(b)(c)(d).
David was hospitalized recently in a psychiatric facility, and was suicidal. I know he's harassed you over the last several months with a lot of spam. Fortunately you didn't overreact, and hopefully he's now going to stop and just focus on his own emotional stability.
I generally try to answer sincere questions from rational, mature people. If it appears to me that an inquiry is "other than that", I just nonrespond. FYI That's how I originally came into contact with Napolis; at first her inquiries seemed sincere and unagendaed.

Ted Gunderson was the former bureau chief of the FBI / Los Angeles in the '70s. I've spoken with him once by phone, and he very definitely believes in conspiracy theories. He said to me, "They've completely taken over, you know. Military intelligence. They control everything now. It's the 'Illuminati'. It really doesn't matter what party is in power in Washington, the Illuminati is running everything anyway." You and he come from vastly different intellectual backgrounds and experiences. But more and more people are beginning to express similar views, and they're not all "cracked."
(a)(b)(c)(d) again. I think it's crazy and silly, but the tinfoil-hat crowd need monsters, sexual fantasy, and above all reassurance that *someone* thinks they're important enough to pay attention to, e.g. "government mind-control".
If I may ask, what are your views on this? Why are these people accusing you of having some kind of involvement in child abuse cases, abductions, and "mind control" experiments on kids? How do you keep these people from adversely affecting your life? Isn't this libel? I know one can't just sue everyone and unnecessarily get restraining orders. If you give this stuff too much credibility, it just attracts more attention. But still, people have been saying this stuff for years now. What's it all about? People are afraid of you - why?
The vast majority of my correspondents are quite sophisticated, intellectual, similarly-curious, and friendly people. Interacting with them is enjoyable and educational. As for the nutcases, I just deal with them as necessary, which really is not all that much. It probably seems like more on the Internet, just because the Internet is as much of a cesspool as it is an advanced learning resource!
