‘World’s largest paedo ring’ BOYCHAT & BOYLOVER.NET

COPS were poised to arrest 1,200 British perverts last night – after smashing the world’s biggest online paedophile ring. Sickos nationwide were bracing themselves for a knock on the door after 230 abused children were rescued from the global network’s vile clutches.

Seventy thousand perverts in 30 countries accessed the encrypted secret network – which offered child-rape PACKAGE TOURS – via a depraved website called boylover.net.

BRITISH child abusers went on paedophile package tours arranged by perverts they met through boylover.net. Through a chat room, the sex beasts could book travel, rooms and even their victims.

Expat abusers in Thailand offered to arrange flights for like minded Brits who wanted to molest and rape youngsters. They met "customers" in Pattaya, laid on apartments and provided them with underage youths to abuse

British paedophiles whose ages ranged from 17 to 82 hosted hideously-named "boil of the day" rape sessions in London and Brighton. Sixty of the youngsters were revealed to have been saved in the UK alone.

Swoops also took place in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Holland, Italy, Belgium, Greece and Poland. The child rape holidays were organised to Thailand and Brazil. Perverts were picked up at airports and ferried to young victims waiting in filthy dens to be passed around like meat. Paedophiles already nicked thanks to the probe include:

Evil Robert Horsman, 48, from Ipswich – serving 14 years in Thailand for abusing two boys aged 12. Also seized there – and deported – was George Gibbs, 67. Twisted Plymouth scoutmaster John McMurdo, 37 – jailed for three years over a stomach-turning child abuse images stash.

Nicked … Horsman, Gibbs and McMurdo were caught in the operation

Liverpool gardener Stephen Palmer, 55, who sent filth to fellow paedos in the US. He got two years – despite throwing his computer into a pond.

In one chilling case cops saved a boy in the nick of time. A scout leader was arrested just hours after boasting on boylover.net that he was going to abuse a "special young friend" on a camping trip.

What is Boychat ?

BoyChat (or BC) is the longest-running boylove forum on the World Wide Web. Started on 29 December, 1995, at Kasper’s Free Spirits web site, based in Holland, it remains today largely unchanged: a single web board to which anyone can post under a nickname. It is basically where Paedophiles can go and chat in various forums, exchanging ideology, thoughts and indecent images and videos of children !

In the UK, the 240 suspects include police officers, teachers, taxi driver and a karate teacher. One of the suspects in the UK is a woman. The Boylover forum has a estimated 70,000 members worldwide.

Boychat.com is another forum that affiliates to Boylover.net which has been shut down since last year

And amazingly the Boychat forum is still open !

BoyChat grew from under 20 posters in the first two days to around 250 posts each day in 2005. With the appearance of numerous modern BL forums such as the more active Boylover.net, participation has fallen, although the site is still very popular at around 100 posts a day.

Under its slogan "you are not alone", BoyChat aims to provide a climate for personal support to boylovers experiencing difficult times. For many, BoyChat is the first introduction to the online boylove community and a realization that they are, indeed, not alone.

Mission statement of Boylover.net

www.boylover.net has one IP number (205.178.189.131)

BoyLover.net provides a safe, supportive, and legal environment where boylovers, boys, and others interested in boylove can share thoughts, opinions, feelings, and experiences. Its forums are online meeting places where questions, advice, and debate take place freely in an atmosphere of comfort and mutual respect, and where educational material and information about boylove can be shared.

The arrests

International police led by a UK team say they shut down the largest internet paedophile ring yet discovered.

The global forum had 70,000 followers at its height, leading to 4,000 intelligence reports being sent to police across 30 countries.

The operation has so far identified 670 suspects and 230 abused children.

Detectives say 184 people have been arrested – 121 of them were in the UK. Some 60 children have been protected in the UK.

The three-year investigation, Operation Rescue, was led by investigators from the UK’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (Ceop).

Speaking at a news conference at The Hague in the Netherlands, investigators said the network hid behind a legal online forum which operated out of the country – but its members came from around the world.

Along with the Netherlands and the UK, suspects have been identified in Australia, Italy, Canada, New Zealand and Thailand.

The members of the network went into a private channel,

boylover.net, and then used its secret systems to share films and images of abused children, said Rob Wainwright, director of European police agency Europol.

However, child abuse investigators, including a team from Ceop, had already infiltrated the network and were posing as paedophiles to gather intelligence.

In the UK, the 240 suspects include police officers, teachers, taxi driver and a karate teacher. One of the suspects in the UK is a woman.

To date, 33 have been convicted, including John McMurdo, a scout leader from Plymouth. Another forum user was Stephen Palmer, 54, of Birkenhead, who shared abuse images with contacts in the US. A third man, 46-year-old Colin Hoey Brown of Bromsgrove, was jailed for making and distributing almost 1,000 images.

‘New ground broken’

Peter Davies, head of Ceop, said: "The scale and success of Operation Rescue has broken new ground.

"Not only is it one of the largest operations of its kind to date – and the biggest operation we have led – it also demonstrates the impact of international law enforcement agencies working together with one single objective, to safeguard children and bring offenders to justice.

"While these offenders felt anonymous in some way because they were using the internet to communicate, the technology was actually being used against them.

"Everything they did online, everyone they talked to or anything they shared could and was tracked by following the digital footprint."

Operation Rescue began when Ceop and colleagues in the Australian Federal Police separately identified the site as a key online meeting place for abusers.

The two forces deployed officers to infiltrate the site and to identify the members who were posing the most risk to children.

One of the early breakthroughs in the investigation was the arrest of four suspects in Thailand in 2008. Two of the men were British.

In March of the same year, Ceop identified the owner of the site and the location of its server in the Netherlands. The owner of the server is now co-operating with Dutch police.

Rob Wainwright of Europol said the man running the server had used "advanced security techniques" which took months to break down.

"If you think you can use the internet to abuse children you are wrong," he said.

"We will not allow these offenders to carry on committing these awful crimes against young children. We will not rest until we have identified every offender that has been active in this network and others that might be operating on the internet."

Pedophile Network Busted

Police from around the world have arrested 184 suspected members of a major paedophile ring and rescued 230 children from abuse, the European Union’s police agency has said.

Europol said it had identified 670 suspects in the ring, which centred on a Dutch-based website, following a three-year investigation that involved police from Europe, the US, Australia and Thailand.

"We expect these numbers to rise further," Rob Wainwright, director of the policy agency said at a press conference in The Hague, the Netherlands, on Wednesday.

"This is already the biggest case of its kind we have ever seen."

This is how bold they are. On camera, on youtube.

The online forum boylover.net, which has since been taken down and its operator taken to court, promoted sex between adults and boys, police said.

"The website attempted to operate as a discussion-only forum where people could share their sexual interest in young boys without committing any specific offences and operate below the radar," Peter Davies of Britain’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre told the press conference.

But he said many members had moved onto email to exchange and share illegal images and films of children being abused.

Those detained by police include teachers, police officers, scout leaders, at least one woman and an 84-year-old man.

One suspect arrested in Spain is said to have worked with children at a summer camp and is suspected of abusing more than 100 children over five years.

Although most of the suspects abused children close to them, the suspects did not share a specific profile.

"There is no particular rule about the age, there is no particular rule about the walk of life they are in. There is no particular profile of someone who is a threat to children in this way," Davies said.

Countries with law enforcement officers involved in the probe include Australia, Belgium, Canada, Greece, Iceland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States, Europol said. Investigations into identified suspects are still under way in other countries that were not listed, it said.

Europol said the suspects were members of boylover.net — an online forum promoting sexual relationships between adults and boys.

"The website operated from a server based in the Netherlands and, at its height, boasted up to 70 000 members worldwide," Europol said in a news release.

The website — now taken down — tried to operate as a "discussion-only" forum in which people operated "below the radar" of police by sharing "their sexual interest in young boys without committing any specific offenses."

"Having made contact on the site, some members would move to more private channels, such as e-mail, to exchange and share illegal images and films of children being abused. Computers seized from those arrested have harvested huge quantities of child abuse images and videos," Europol said.

Britain’s Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center located the website owner and traced the server to the Netherlands in 2009.

"In January 2010, a copy of the seized site’s server was received by Europol, and the Australian and UK police. Working with Zaanstreek-Waterland Police in the Netherlands, Europol rebuilt the forum offline and forensically interrogated the server to produce intelligence analysis that was disseminated globally to law enforcement authorities," Europol said.

Two Canadians were among 184 suspects arrested in connection with one of the largest international pedophile rings ever uncovered, police announced Wednesday.

RCMP confirmed to CTV.ca that one Canadian suspect was arrested by police in Saskatchewan, while another was nabbed by police in Waterloo, Ont.

David John Lapage, 68, of Abernethy, Sask. was arrested on Nov. 19, 2009 in connection with the probe, Sgt. Patrick Nogier told CTV.ca.

Olaf Heinzel, public affairs co-ordinator for Waterloo Regional Police, told CTV.ca the force arrested a 40-year-old Kitchener man early last November.

"Those who have been members of the site can expect a knock on the door in the very near future," he said.

Our office has received information of a few NEW individuals in Canada, but we are still waiting for confirmation and will post names as soon as possible.
