“While the elaborate ceremonial magic of antiquity was not necessarily evil, there arose from its perversion several false schools of sorcery, or black magic, (In Egypt)... the black magicians of Atlantis continued to exercise their superhuman powers until they had completely undermined and corrupted the morals of the primitive Mysteries... they usurped the position formerly occupied by the initiates, and seized the reins of spiritual government.
“Thus black magic dictated the state religion and paralysed the intellectual and spiritual activities of the individual by demanding his complete and unhesitating acquiescence in the dogma formulated by the priestcraft. The Pharaoh became a puppet in the hands of the Scarlet Council - a committee of arch-sorcerers elevated to power by the priesthood."
I just put brotherhood in the search engine jallen. lots of interesting ideas that's for sure. I could spend endless time just looking into babylon. thats why i just want the understanding of the sysmbols because i can see that enlil corrupted it in eygpt. the original framework of the mysteries has stayed together. Sun, serpent, fire, dying, rebirth, virgin birth. I guess what I am seeing is how they used the rituals against man instead of for them like enili started to do with the original system of brotherhood.
Mariah when i get done checking for what am looking for, if that is possible. i will check out history of venus and maybe be able to give you some help looking. i read about joan of arc and just though about how joan talked to god and had visions and was told what would happen and it did. she did not seem to know that she had eyes to see and ears to hear. makes me wonder if mary did know she was this goddess. would she ever know. i read on an essene site that they knew all of christs incarnations and had them recorded and could tell when he would incarnate nothing about how they knew. do these ancients know who they are if they are not told. i do not think joan would have let herself be burned at the stake if she knew. and if others knew why did they let her burn.
Good question about Joan Omega....I don't know if the ancients keep there memories or not.....this article is what the orignal Brotherhood of the Serpent is about....it also shows some of the symbolism to the Goddess and Venus....it sounds alot like Druidism as well.
SHEPHERDS OF THE ROYAL SEED
THE KINGS OF SUMER
"... Earthly kingship was established as a hallowed employment encompassing both social and military duties. It was not governmental, though, for the kings were the designated guardians of the people, and their role was to protect and direct the people. In functional terms, the king was defined as a shepherd and his rod of assembly was a shepherd's staff (a crook or crosier). This was a requisite symbol of the original kings; it was not until much later that the Christian appropriated the crosier as an instrument of authority for its bishops.
"... Although the early Sumerian kings were responsible for affairs of national defence, they were not established as warriors in the first instance. Their military role, should the need come to pass, was to be the supreme protectors of the realm and to guide the troops with justness and wisdom. In his role as a shepherd a Sumerian king (called a lugal), Note: From lu (man) and gal (great), i.e. 'great man'. See also Frankfort, H., Kingship and the Gods, p. 246. was also a designated priest (sanga). The king was additionally head of the judiciary (an ensi)., Note: Frankfort, Henri, with Frankfort H. A., Wilson J. A., and Jacobsen T. Before Philosophy, Penguin, Harmondsworth, 1951, p. 204., his operative base being within the temple compound of his city-state. Note: Roux, G., Ancient Iraq, p. 115. The queen held the formal title of Lady (Nin), and she and the king lived in a property designated the Great House (the E-gal). It is, in fact, from the earlier Sumerian sanga-lugals that the tradition of priest-kings evolved in the Messianic line, as discussed in Bloodline of the Holy Grail.
"... Nevertheless, Adam's was not the original earthly Blood Royal (the Sangreal). He was a prototype, a model for things to come, but he was not the physical progenitor of the kingly line. As will be detailed, there were a further two stages in the creative process - a process which involved Eve rather than Adam.
"... Although the style of Abba (Father) moved into Semitic use, and was later adopted in the New Testament to define God, Note: Mark 14:36; Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:6., it was originally a Sumerian word which defined the sanga-lugal. Note: Frankfort, H., Kingship and the Gods, p. 215.
"... Later we shall return to the kingly succession, but for the time being it is worth noting that the senior royal descent was not the line from Eve's third son Seth as portrayed in Genesis. It was, in accordance with the earliest matriarchal tradition, the line from her first and senior son Cain - the character so maliciously discredited by the Christian Church (see Chart: Post-diluvian Kings of Sumer, p. 232.)
THE MARK OF CAIN
"... It transpires that, although the well-known Cain and Abel were the sons of Hawah (Eve), they actually had different fathers. While Abel was the straightforward product of a Homo sapiens-sapiens union with Adam, his elder half-brother Cain was an advancement of the earlier cloning experiments, with Hawah's ovum further enriched with Enki's Anunnaki blood. This means that Qayin (Cain) emerged as the most advanced product of the Royal Seed.
"Whereas the original Genesis text made much of Qayin's prestige and the seniority of his line, these attributes have been demolished by translators and theologians in favour of a secondary descent from Hawah's third son Seth. In Genesis (4:2) we read that 'Abel was a keeper of sheep, while Cain was a tiller of the ground'. By a better translation, however, the text should read more accurately that 'Cain acquired dominion over the Earth' - as indeed he did, in kingship. Note: It is sometimes suggested that the name 'Cain' is related to 'possession', see Oxford Concordance to the Bible. the name 'Abel' is similarly identify with 'vanity'. See also Church, L. F., Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible, Genesis IV:1:2/I.
"When we then read (Genesis 4:3-5) that Abel's offerings were acceptable to the Lord, but Cain's were not, we get the impression that Cain's offerings were in some way inferior. But the original emphasis was on the premise that offerings (venerations) were acceptable from Abel as a subordinate subject, where as for Cain to make offerings was unacceptable because of his kingly status. Note: Suares, C., the Cipher of Genesis, p. 83. Genesis (4:6-7) does actually make the point that Cain's seniority over Abel was significant.
"... As for the enigmatic mark placed upon Cain, this is probably the most important aspect of the story so far, because although not defined in the Bible, the Mark of Cain is the oldest recorded Grant of Arms in sovereign history. In the Midrash and Phoenician traditions, the Mark of Cain is defined as being a cross within a circle. Note: Graves, R., and Patal, R., Hebrew Myths - Genesis, p. 97. It was, in principle, a graphic representation of kingship, which the Hebrews called the Malkhut ('Kingdom': from the Akkadian word malku = sovereign). Note: Engnell, I., Studies in Divine Kingship in the Ancient Near East, p. 37. This was a legacy of Tiamat, the Dragon Queen and matriarch of the Grail bloodline...
"In accordance with the history of the Imperial and Royal Court of the Dragon - an ancient fraternity with Egyptian origins from about 2170 BC - the outer circle or the Mark of Cain was emblematic of a serpent-dragon clutching its own tail: a symbol of wholeness and wisdom known as the ouroboros. In more recent representations it is shown precisely in this form. The cross (called the Rosi-crucis (Greco-Roman), from rosi = dew of waters, and crucis = cup or chalice) is a sign of enlightenment and on this account the sacred Rosi-crucis (the Dew Cup, or Cup of the Waters) was the original mark of foundation of the kingly bloodline. The cup, is identified in Bloodline of the Holy Grail, Note: Gardner, L., Bloodline of the Holy Grail, pp. 247-50., was itself emblematic of the womb, representing the maternal aspect of kingship, whence the Blood Royal (the waters of enlightenment) flowed. It was therefore deemed that the Mesopotamian kings were individually married to the Mother Goddess ... In its female form, the Mark of Cain becomes the familiar symbol of Venus with the cross moved outside the circle so that the woman (the cross) is surmounted by the ouroboros of dragon kingship. When set about, with the cross above the circle, the representation is that personified by the Orb of sovereign regalia. Note: In alchemical circles, the Orb represents the male (semen/energy) whereas the Venus symbol is emblematic of the female (blood/life). See also Grant, K., The Magical Revival, p. 37.
"... Given that kingship (Malkhut) was perceived as a matrilinear inheritance through Tiamat and Lilith, the name of Qayin (Kain, whence 'King') was also directly associated with the definition 'Queen'.
"... The letter 'Q' derives from the Venus symbol (circle with cross below it) - a symbol equally attributed to Isis, Nin-khursag, Lilith and Kali, all of whom were deemed 'black but beautiful' (Song of Solomon 1:5). Lilith and Kali were both titular names, with Kali appropriated from kala (the periodic time of the female lunar cycle), while Nin-khursag was the ultimate Lady of Life. Hers was the genus which constituted the true 'beginning' of the sacred bloodline - the Genesis of the Grail Kings...
"As to the identity of Qayin's wife (Genesis 4:17-24), she was called Luluwa (Pearl: a lunar jewel). Note: Platt, Rutherford, H. (ed.), The Forgotten Books of Eden, New American Library, New York, 1974, 'Adam and Eve', LXXIV, p. 53. In some Christian works, Luluwa is given as being the daughter of Eve, although she is not mentioned by name in the Bible. Note: Luluwa is called Awan in the book of Jubilees. Luluwa (more correctly Luluwa-Lilith) was the daughter of Lilith, and in the Talmudic tradition Lilith was Adam's primary consort before Eve..."
"Jehovah was YHWH: the tetrad (four persons) of Father, Mother, Son and Daughter. But the Bride (the inheritance of the daughter) is still lost in exile, and so the deity remains simply YHWH. It is consequently maintained that only when reunited with his Bride (the Shekhina-Matronit-Shabbat) can God become complete as YHWH again."
I do not know if this is a human event, or cosmic event. This was before the idealism of Isreal being the bride of God or the Church being the Bride of God which was a corruption of the Mysteries by Enlil. It's symbolism shows up in the Grail Mysteries as well. It could be a symbolic Kingship intiation ritual.
To understand the ancient Sun symbolism is to understand the major religions. In the ancient world they used one particular symbol for the Sun’s journey through the year. This is still a fundamental symbol used by the Babylonian Brotherhood. It symbolised both the Phoenician depictions of Barati and was on the shield of her British expression, Britannia. The ancients took the circle of the zodiac (a Greek word meaning animal circle) and inserted a cross to mark the four seasons. At the centre of the cross, they placed the Sun. So many of the pre-Christian deities were said to have been born on December 25th because of this symbolism. On December 2lst-22nd, you have the winter solstice when, in the northern hemisphere, the Sun is at the lowest point of its power in the annual cycle. The Sun, the ancients said, had symbolically ‘died’. By December 25th, the Sun had demonstrably begun its symbolic journey back to the summer and the peak of its power. The ancients, therefore, said that the Sun was ‘born’ on December 25th. The Christian Christmas is merely a renamed Pagan festival, as indeed are all Christian festivals. Easter is another. About March 25th, the old fixed date for Easter, the Sun enters the astrological sign of Aries the ram or the lamb. At this time the ancients used to sacrifice lambs because they believed this would appease the gods, most notably the Sun god, and ensure abundant harvests. In other words they believed that the blood of the lamb would mean that their sins would be forgiven.
In ancient Babylon, Tammuz, the son of Queen Semiramis, was said to have been crucified with a lamb at his feet and placed in a cave. When a rock was rolled away from the cave’s entrance three days later, his body had disappeared. The ancients also symbolised the Sun as a baby in December, a youth at Easter, a strapping, immensely strong, man in the summer, an ageing man losing his power in the autumn, and an old man by the winter solstice. The modern depiction of Old Father Time is a version of this. They also symbolised the Sun as having long golden hair (sun rays) which got shorter as he lost his power in the months of autumn. The Old Testament story of Samson -Sam-sun. He was incredibly strong and had long hair, but he lost his power when his hair was cut. The problems started when he entered the House of Delilah - the astrological house of Virgo, the virgin, through which the Sun passes as autumn approaches. Summoning his last burst of power, Sam-the-Sun, pushes down the two pillars, which are classic Brotherhood symbolism going back at least to ancient Egypt. Samson is Sam Sun - a symbolic story of the Sun’s annual cycle. In Hebrew, Samson mean the God of the Sun. Merovian Kings were know for there long hair which was a believed to give them strong Magic Power. The term Son of God would seem to originate at least as far back as the Aryan Gothic kings of Cilicia who took the title ‘Son of the Sun God’, a tradition adopted by the Pharaohs of Egypt.
